Potential trouble for Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother
Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, has found himself in trouble after being accused of assault at a bar. Jackson is a popular social media personality, but now the spotlight is on him for all the wrong reasons.
The incident occurred at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas on Friday, February 25, 2023. Jackson is accused of forcibly kissing Aspen Vaughn, the 40-year-old female bar owner. The incident was captured in a video circulating on social media.
Jackson Mahomes is also accused of shoving a 19-year-old waiter that evening.
Accusations refuted
After the news broke, a spokesperson for Jackson Mahomes stated, “Jackson has done nothing wrong. Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses.”
This is not the first time Jackson has been a distraction during Chiefs’ games. Earlier this season, Jackson was filmed dancing on opponents’ graves after his brother’s victories, leading to criticism from several quarters.
