Seattle Seahawks sign Geno Smith to three-year deal
Pro Bowl quarterback Gen Smith has signed a three-year, $105 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks.
Previously a backup quarterback, Smith earned the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year award and Pro Bowl honors in 2022 after leading the league in completion percentage.
The Seahawks have multiple high draft picks, including two first-round picks at No. 5 and No. 20. With the addition of Smith, they are expected to be a strong contender in 2023.
Smith was drafted by the New York Jets in 2013 and has played for the New York Giants, Los Angeles Chargers, and most recently the Seattle Seahawks.
